Dearest Lil,

Have no time to write letter now so a postcard will have to do. I had a grand walk to Anstey's Cove and Bishop's Walk yesterday. I am sure you would like it if you could only come. I will bring your cream home with me, I think. Don’t you think this view pretty? The lanes are nearly all like this. Francis and I go in for singing and running competitions down the lanes and make an awful row.
