Dear Mom and Dad,

We made it. Free ride to Madrid in the cage hold of a big C-141. A bit chilly but the price was right. We found a lovely babysitter to stay with the kids. Weather here about the same as in Germany - chilly and wet. Hoping for a bull fight tomorrow and trip to Toledo and Valley of [the] Fallen men. Love, Alan
