Aren't you ever going to write? I thought I left instructions you were to. I spend ten hours a day writing home. Everything going splendidly, and I'm not considering asking Davies [?] to take me back yet. Nobody dead with indigestion either. Your cooking isn't in with mine! Wish you were here now so that we could have a little chat. I like the West very well, although Transcona is very different from Toronto. Winnipeg is a fine city though. We are in our own little house now, and like it ever so much. When are you coming out?
