Arthur arose at 6am this morning. Very energetic isn't he?

Dear Ethel,

You mean bounder not to write. Very sad occurrence in Brighton Saturday. You'll be very grieved to hear it. I stood on one ??? and my hat blew off into the sea. I don't believe I shall ever see it again.

Heather arrived safely. We all met her.
