Dear Grandma,

I expect you are tried of waiting for your receipt. It is not very tidy, but I suppose it will answer the purpose this time next year if needed. We are still having very hot weather here and not much chance of rain. A storm passed over on Sunday but we did not get the rain from it. I supposed I am to go back to Parramatta after the holidays. Miss Winnie ... has to go to Bourke. I don't think she will enjoy it much. We expect Ivy home tomorrow. No news has come here for her yet or Walfie either.

Love to all from all,

Winnie
