December 19th, 1916.

Am sending small package. Am ill with the grips. Rob had to stay at home, part of last week to be nurse and housekeeper. Am able to be about now but had cough. Its so provoking to be shut in now at this busy season. Have had to get Rob to do some shopping for me. Hope you all are enjoying good health. How is your rheumatism? Expected to spend Christmas out home but shall not dare to go so soon after this cold. Wishing you all much happiness.
