My dear wife,

As the mail close tonight for ... so I cannot say too much. We have just returned quite softly and all well. I thought I posted this letter but found on my return that I left it in my pack. So this will all come together. I have not yet received any mail but I believe it will be in in a few days again. Do you ever remember or reflect being in charge of that wedding at Watts. I do not know dear if there will be anything strange in your coming letter for there seems to be something of which I do not know worrying me if you and home and I have not had a decent rest for over a week. I am sending your parcel from England by my mate under regular post.

So Au Revoir with love.

Your sincerely husband,

Archie.

P.S. Give my love to all.

SAG.
