Hotel Sydney. 4 June 1952.

Gld sends her love.

Dear Kate and Les,

We are spending a few days in Sydney. But you are off to Brisbane in the morning. We had a nice trip over to Sydney, though it rained the best part of the way. We had to go through Wagga. The main highway was flooded at Wagga. They had a very bad storm. These were blown and by the road roof of houses were blown off. The weather in Sydney is quite warm today. I do not like driving in the Sydney traffic. Everyone is in a hurry. I got my 1750 ... The car is running very well. I hope it keeps that way. I have seen quite a number of my old mates over here. I write from Brisbane.

Love to you both,

Ted.
