Dear May and Violet,

Today is rained and it very window but now the sun is trying to shine. Just had my hair permed. Greta is having a shampoo and set. Tomorrow Dick has finished cutting all his and has put up sticks for his beans so he is quite pleased with himself and is quite good humoured. Haven't been about very much because Dick wanted to get things done, but have had some lovely evening drives which have been sunny and best part of the day. We did go to Paldie. It was very windy there but sunny and walked across the sands. I beleive there is a barbeque in the village tonight and some decorated floats so I heard at the hairdresser. Am not yet sure of return date, but will let you know. Hope May's leg soon recovers otherwise both keeping well.
