Dear Bessie,

Just a postcard to let you know I got over this side at night and had good trip. I have not yet to Kute fet? I'm having a good time with Mrs. Duncan. I'll go to all I can while I am here. I will be by the fields on river, since nest times have started to work. It is not bad so far, I don't know what it will be like. They tell me it is very hot in the fields. If i can't stand it up there I will come back down here as there is plenty of work. I was glad of the rug on the boat. It was cold and I was not sick. I was on the deck all the way.
