66 Charlotte St, Winnipeg, Aug 28/1911. Dear Friends: -- This is the first day of the great Exhib, isn't it? Wish I could visit the same. This was taken during Wpg's big Exhibition, when the three girls were down. I got some holidays & we went sight seeing together. The best thing at the Fair was the aeroplane. Hope to travel in one myself someday--stranger things have happened. My Uncle here died of health trouble on 17th Aug. He had been ill for a month. My Aunt misses him so much for they were a very devoted couple. She has two splendid sons tho. Our folks at the Burg are all well & busy. Trusting you are all in good health I am yours as ever, D. R.
