Dear Ruth

Your second letter awaited we when we arrived Tuesday afternoon. You are the best for letters. I’ve also received them from Berdine, Vivian, Laurie and Lucille.

Since Sunday many of us have been ill with 'tourists'. Right now I wish I were at home. I’m taking it easy on this free day because tomorrow we leave for Montreal. Hope you and Laud have a wonderful trip.
