My darling Ruby

Once again just a postcard to let you know all is well. I am up once more and I am pleased to say I feel a.i. I suppose i shall soon be going back to my quirt again. I do wish it would all end so as I could come back to you never to part again. I have had the same old complaint again it is the rough food and water I think that upsets me as you know in civil life. I was never bad . well washing I hope you received my little parcel to you. let me know when you receive it that's all I wait to know about it , I hope you are all well at here I am sending Lilly a P.f now also, it has been a real old Australian day here today, I must close good bye sweet heart love and kisses from your loving true bay
