Dear Lizzie - Just a line this morning, to let you know I received your welcome little letter, but have been so awful busy lately. how are every body at your place? Mama has been sick with her headache but is better now, Jim has had a sore hand, he drove a nail through his thumb, but is getting along alright now. I have been away for a week over at Guy's farm cooking for the men, we all like it here fine. Everything is so pretty, our plum trees are all in bloom. I will send you a few of the blossom's. I think they are so pretty. We have lots of company, the drugist's daughter and a friend of hers was out to call on us. Everybody are so friendly. How is your Mother? I am still looking for her letter. When are you folks coming up to see us? Well Lizzie, this is all for now so bye-bye and write often. Say hello to all the folks for me. Yours with love, Ruthie.
