June 15th. Dear friends, we got to Canada quite safe. We was tired out for it was Sun June 4th. We had a rough voyage - it was bitter cold and the train was too warm. We was three day and four nights on the train. We both got cold on the boat but we are much better now. Winnipeg is a busy place but it is nice and quiet here. We are only a few mins walk out of the city. Well how are you and the boys? Remember us to your sisters, mother and your brother and his wife. Hope you will write to me and tell me all the news.
