Dear Mrs Bailey,

Your beautiful cards rwere eceived and would have answered directly but I did not have your address with me. I have been five weeks at this lake. I am so sorry you are ill and do hope you are better. It is so hard to suffer so. I thought you were not going to send anymore-0still I thought you would have said goodbye to me. How is the little girlie? Hope she is well. I have been over and under this bridge many times. These will be a change of view. From Paterson.
