Dear Mrs. Scott,

I had Mrs. Brodie up to tea yesterday afternoon. She expects to sail a week tomorrow, that is May 4th with the Furnessia if all goes well. She was looking rather worried. The girlie is all right now but the boy has not been so well. Maybe the voyage will do her good. They expect to land on the 16th. Got your cleaning all done, more is to begin to yet.
