Dear sister,

A little rain today for a change. Hazel still with us. Went to Nashua yesterday afternoon for a ride one and a half hour coming home. Called on Sarah met Arthur B. S. Wife there. I am not doing anything now but ?? and ?? but keep busy at that. It has been awful hot since the 4th. Some nights i slept on the floor. Mutt is trying to talk his best to you. Is not very fluent yet. I wonder if your cat stands this hot time. Will be entered roung by the neck. We write the Chase family same and i where relatives wishing from New York also hard and wife who wishes for spend the money but – think it is not very favorable weather. Please excuse a little ? time.
