Dear All,

I have been in this village and we had a hot bath in one part of the village. It was not far off the church town. You can see it on the other postcard and the bath was real good, showers fixed up bongar and we get clean changes of clothes more often lately. A lot of chaps go for a swim in the canal that you can see in one of the cards and it is pretty dup, and there is a pretty swiift current of water tunning and it would take as good swimmer to swim against it. This village is pretty well deserted now. There are a few odd ones living it but most of them shifted because he puts a few shells over now and again or else he comes over at night and drops a few bombs. We have been in a fair number of different villages lately and most of the people have had to clear out and leave their places.

Selected from the extensive collections of The State Library of South Australia. We encourage you to find out more about their collections and visit their website at [www.slsa.gov.au](http://www.slsa.gov.au/?utm_source=PostcardTree&utm_medium=referral).
