Dear Mrs. White- Had a delightful trip up on the boat. Nice and cool. Wore my blue coat all the time. Very hot in Wilmington and the remainder of the trip. Having a pleasant visit and the rest out here where its so quiet. Lovely and cool here today and rained some. Going to the Fair tomorrow. Hope you are not to [sic] lonely.
