Camp Hughes, Sewell, Man., Oct 20th. Dear Nellie. This is a bit card for your Album showing the "Trenches" in and around the Camp at Sewell. Quite a chunk of land is taken up with them. But now I wouldn't mind if I was away from it. the snow is lying here now, along with very [...] frost at night. Were going back to Brandon for winter. Monday is supposed to be the day, but not sure yet. Its rather on the cold side lying under canvas now. and there hardly a man. but what has got the cold. A well [?] Nellie hope this finds you and and all the rest Father & Mother in their usual good health. Quite a bunch of men has left this Camp for the old country this summer. hope your getting along alright. From your Uncle Dod (181st [?] Batt [?] So Long.
