Competing teams in Lady game surf gal competition on judging stage at Coogee Beach on Saturday December 17th 1935. Six teams competed and the winners were first Bondi, second Wembley, third Randwick (Coogee). We were pleased with all we saw on this occasion. Coogee had one of largest crowds for years on this great day.

Some fine type of young women were presented and it was a big task for the judges (4) to select the winners. I had a word with one of the carnival committee and was introduced to other members some day(?) and some crowd and some girls.

Selected from the extensive collections of the National Museum of Australia. We encourage you to find out more about their collections and visit their website at [www.nma.gov.au](http://www.nma.gov.au/?utm_source=PostcardTree&utm_medium=referral)
