On train east of Los Angeles. November 29th. On way to the peace ship sailing Dec 4th from New York. I was very glad to have your letter and the portraits and the negatives. I was looking for a letter from you after September 20th. I had double work to do at the fair. I had almost 4 days notice of this peace plan. We don't know how long it will take to put sense into crazy Europe.
