July 28 1912. Dear Hattie - Just a few lines to let you know I have not forgotten you - I cannot seem to get the time to write the letters I should. Hope you are well, I am sosorry Lillian is having such a hard time, hope she will be better soon., also hope that Edwin is gaining fast. Am sorry for your mother. It has all been very hard for her. It has been raining lots here this month. Too much for the crops in some places, This is a lovely day, How fast our summer is going, We have all had a visit from Kate & baby Alice, I think Tina will go out there this week for a visit. It will do her good to get wayfor a few days. Write when you can M.P.
