Thank you for the interesting cards and letters. When hi Hughes dam it seems that I am in another world for the time at least. Hope you are much better by this time. I have not been ill since I came home. Have gained about 10 pounds in weight with [?] The hard work long hours classes every night. No recreation. Now things have let up a little so have hopes of a little pleasure. Nellie, Esther, and Miss Linam[?] all write to me sometime. I must read you one of Esther's letters. She has improved very much. Yes sometime we must go back to H. [?] [?] her. [?] B. wrote and offered one [?] [?] [?]. This vacation time [?] I have asked for Sept 1st but may not get it.
